Unity + Generative A.I. : 02
Open the Project in Unity Hub + Unity Editor Tour
This series shows you how to take Generative AI outputs such as images, sprites, sound effects, music, and even optional video and plug them into a real working Unity project in a structured, repeatable way.
It was originally created to support a Rowan University certificate program, but you don’t need to be enrolled to follow along. If you can install Unity and download the project files, you can build your own themed version of the game step-by-step.
In Episode 2, we open the Revenge of the Rowan Owl project using Unity Hub (Unity 6 / 6000.x) and do a fast, beginner-friendly tour of the Unity Editor so you’re not lost when we start swapping GenAI assets. You’ll see how to add the project from disk, confirm the correct Unity version, and get into a working editor layout.
We also cover the core panels you’ll use constantly in this series: Scene vs Game view, Project window, and the Inspector plus the basics of navigating the scene, Play/Pause/Step, and where the project’s folders live (backgrounds, player, obstacles, boss, UI, audio, and video).
